The capital of Sikkim, is a unique hill resort of northeast India and undoubtedly one of the most oft-visited ones. Perched on the ridge of a hill at an altitude of 1700 mt, Gangtok is famous for its scenic beauty and spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga, their highest mountain in the world. The town offers a mild temparate climate with a temperature of around 23 degree centigrate in Summer and around 6 degree centigrate during winter. This hill resort is 110 km from Siliguri and well connected with other major places of the region. Officially the population of Gangtok is around 50,000 but actually the number is at least double that figure. The principle language in Gangtok as in other parts of the region is Nepali. But Hindi, English, Bengali and Tibetan are also spoken and understood by a large part of the population. The town covers an area of approximately 25 square kilometer.

• Day 01: Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok.
  Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (117kms/4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
  
  Day 02: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
  Early morning visit Hanuman Tak,Ganesh Tak,Tashi view Point(These three points are famous for watching beautiful early morning view on Mt Kanchenjunga).After breakfast best point sightseeing tour in and around the capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms along with Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Center (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kargyupa Sect – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.
  
  Day 03: Excursion Trip To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
  After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. (Optional tour is, Nathula the Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only)
  
  Day 04: Gangtok – Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)
